I wore pointy high heels and flip flops my entire life. My feet didn't bother me until I hit 39 and poof! Plantar fasciitis and heel pain. I have tried inserts and night splints but nothing has worked. After reading every review on multiple websites for these shoes, I took a chance. They have a wide toe box and a very firm and prominent arch which is good for plantar but can take some getting used to for someone with flat feet/fallen arches like me. They are unisex so if you have a narrow foot, I would skip these. Also the sizing is definitely off - these run a full size larger than normal euro sizes. I wear a ladies US 7.5-8 and according to the chart, I should have ordered a 39. Based on other reviews I knew 39 would be too big so I bought the 38. They still felt too big so I exchanged for the 37. The 37 was snug at first but stretched and are now perfect in bare feet. Still waiting to see how this affects my PF and heel pain but I am hopeful based on other reviews
I have been wearing Grizzly Haflingers for years. I got my first pair in Germany (20 years ago) and now am able to get them here in the U.S. They are very comfy and give good arch support. I love to wear them when I do my holiday baking...they give great support when on my feet all day in the kitchen. I love them so much, last Christmas everyone in the family (ages 20's - 60's) got a pair in their favorite color! They all love them! The older version is slightly more comfortable (black bottom) than the newer version (light bottom). The newer version seems stiffer...but I still love them. I wear the Haflinger sandals during the summer and love them as well! Dodds has always been great with delivery (very quick) and shoe quality!
Very comfortable clogs from the start. Fit true to size (just check the chart for the US to Euro size conversion.) After a few days of wearing, I could feel them form to my feet. My feet stay toasty warm, never sweaty, and the arch support is so much better than other slippers or Crocs. Plus, they look cute with jeans for quick errands! Definitely worth the price! Note that some sellers carry Haflingers that are made in other countries. However, this pair had a tag stating it was made in Germany from Pure New Wool. I am very pleased with my purchase! Dodds shipped them quickly, too!

I've worn this shoe for decades. The current version is nothing like earlier ones. It doesn't have the support, structure, or craftsmanship as before, and it behaves more like a cheap scuff slipper than the well made classic clog, with the heel coming completely out of the shoe with every step. The sole material has changed also, into a more grippy material.
I returned them immediately.
