I just reviewed my black ones. These are the same but at an even lower price. Couldn't pass them up. Don't go by sizing chart. I am a regular 7.5 n most brands, and if I'd ordered by chart instead of what an older pair had imprinted on sole, they would have been too big. As it is these are roomy enough to allow for a warm sock. We have very little snow here and I wear them year round, but mostly during colder weather. Great, durable shoes, esp. if you remember to renew the protection on cork sides with rubber cement from time to time, good arch support.
These aren't a perfect replacement to the terrific shoes I have been wearing for the past 8 years, but they are still warm and sturdy. The new version is wider and the foot opening is bigger, with the overall effect that they feel sloppy on my feet, even with thick socks. I don't feel as comfortable walking down stairs or walking quickly. It is as though they converted this to a unisex shoe from an original woman's shoe.
I think the quality is close to the same, so if you have a wider foot, you might be perfectly happy with these shoes.
I have a bad case of plantar fasciitis in my left heel, and a friend told me about these shoes on Christmas Eve. I bought them 2 days later. I've only been wearing them for a week, but so far, so good! I REALLY like them a lot. My foot feels so much better and I'm hardly limping at all now. They are very comfortable and have great arch support. I'm hoping in a couple more weeks I'll be running up and down the hall at work! My only problem is deciding which style and color to order next.......
