Love these shoes. They have lasted a long time and have good arch support. I have two pair--one really old black pair with braid, and a newer dusty purple pair with no braid and decorative stitching all over the wool part. The newest pair said 37 on the sole, so that's what I ordered. I am a solid 7.5 in most shoes. If I'd gone by the sizing chart I would have ended up with a 38...way too big as these 37's are roomy enough to need a medium-heavy sock. My oldest pair is over 20 years old, have been resoled at least once, and I'm finally getting a hole in wool in front of big toe. Good arch support and, while the current sole is not the vibram sole I put on first pair, it is aggressive enough to not be slippery. Did I say I love these clogs? I was only going to replace black ones, but there was such a good price on the brown ones that I got a pair of those as well. They came well-packed, and very quickly. Don't forget to protect cork sides with rubber cement every once in a while.
These are Awesome! They fit like a glove, keep my feet warm without overheating them and are super comfortable. I usually order all my shoes on Zappos.com, but this time around, they didn't have these in the size that i needed so i googled them to see what other websites popped up....this is how i found Dodds Shoe Co. Not only were they a better price then Zappos.com, the service was fantastic. They arrived quickly and I didn't pay tax on top of things. I would use Dodds again for sure. I had a terrific experience and These shoes are worth the price. In fact, I loved them so much ( never tried this brand before) I ordered the wool slippers as well. They have been my go to shoe this winter in CA.
We love Haflinger slippers and have worn them for years. Very good for these stay-at-home self-isolating days. Yet the hard soles mean you can dash out to get the paper or mail. We're retired and stay at home a lot. Still, we get approximately three years of wear per pair. The decorative trim goes first.
If you have other European-sized shoes/slippers, check those for size and order by that number not your American size. (For example, I wear an American 6, now shown as a European 37 in the Halfingers. Ordered a 36, shown as an American 5 1/2, and am much happier.)

The wool is coming apart from the sole after only five weeks of indoor wear. The cork appears damaged (cracked) where they are becoming unglued. These clogs have had minimal outdoor wear (to the mailbox and back a few time) but they have been worn a good bit indoors. I am a size 6 and purchased size 37. They are big, but wearable. I purchased the same Haflinger clogs years ago and wore them for a long time without a problem. These were not inexpensive; I'm disappointed.
