These are definitely warm enough for our harsh Michigan winters, even without socks! When it isn't wet I also wear them to walk the dog and sometimes to the grocery. I like there are no ties on top like shearling moccasins have (that won't stay tied). Best slippers to be quarantined in, for sure!
These are the best slippers for my feet. They were referred to me through a company that deals with people who need orthotics in shoes that will help feet, and the changes that occur through age. I have been wearing better than twenty years. They suit my feet very well!
Third pair of Haflinger slippers. These are great slippers for cold weather. Bought them to wear at my daughter's house in N.H. Tempted to take them back to Texas, but I have other (not fleece-lined) Haflingers there.
I cannot think of any "cons."
