Where is Timberland from?
Timberland started as the Abington Shoe Company in 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts. It wasn’t until 1973, after Nathan Swartz took over and moved the company to New England, that the Original Timberland boot was launched and the company we all know today was born.
Where are Timberland shoes made?
While Timberland started as a Made in the USA company, their growing success required that they expand. Since the company was purchased by VF Corporation officially in June of 2011, Timberland shoes are now made widely throughout the world. A full list of locations can be found on the VF website.
