Where is Timberland from?

Timberland started as the Abington Shoe Company in 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts. It wasn’t until 1973, after Nathan Swartz took over and moved the company to New England, that the Original Timberland boot was launched and the company we all know today was born.

While Timberland started as a Made in the USA company, their growing success required that they expand. Since the company was purchased by VF Corporation officially in June of 2011, Timberland shoes are now made widely throughout the world. A full list of locations can be found on the VF website.

Coming in close second as the most known Timberland shoe, Timberland Steel Toe shoes of any kind are used and loved by working people everywhere. Some Timberlands are made with a work safe composite safety toe while others are comprised of that soft toe finish, giving different options based on individual needs.

How to Clean Timberland Boots:
