I bought these slippers for my husband because the rubberized soles on his old slippers were noisy on our hardwood floors. I've worn Haflinger slippers for many years and love them and he loves his now too. What we've both discovered is that they stretch a lot once you start wearing them, so if you've sized your feet correctly and the slippers feel too short and narrow when you first buy them, please realize the wool will stretch far more than leather does. This was my first Dodds purchase, and I was delighted by the service and pricing of this small Wyoming business and will continue to support them in the future.
It is so great to find a business that is accomodating with such quick service. My goes grew and I ordered the wrong slipper size. I love the Haflinger slippers. My mother wears these slippers all day, everyday. In spite of foot surgery, my mom suffers from hammer toes that pain her if she wears regular shoes. These slippers also provide arch support that prevents her plantar fasciitis from returning.
In fact, they are so comfortable, I also get her Hardsole Classic slipper for when she ventures out of the house to visit friends or a doctor, and the Classic Wool Grizzly Clog for inclement weather.
My sisters and I are hooked on the Classic slippers as well, and are the first thing we slip on when we slip off our shoes as we enter out homes.

I have had several pairs of Haflinger slippers and they have always fit very well. These do not they are running small and of course they are not available in a different size online through Dodds. Not sure why they aren't fitting as they usually do in the size I usually order
