These boiled wool slippers with hard soles for occasionally walking outside , are easy to get in and out of, the wool moderates the temperature-they are equally useful in Dallas and Idaho with greatly different temperatures , and the soles are great on uneven surfaces-like natural slate floors and hand shaved hardwood floors Comfirt is key and these are. I wear a size 7. Although my shoe size generally runs 6. 1/2, and these slippers have more of an arch which is great for me. I will purchase through Dodd again. The price was better than Amazon, no taxes or shipping charge, and the service great. I like doing business with this company.
My beloved bride had worn-out her Haflinger AS20 Classic Woolfelt Navy Slippers, but she refused to stop wearing them. Her feet are 'slippers-challenged,' and she just loved the pair she had. She said they were the only slippers she ever enjoyed wearing. Well, after googling various combinations of words and phrases, I finally found a new pair that is a perfect replica of her pair. I have worn these slippers for years and love them.
My husband now wears them too. I have bought them in other places but I know that Dodds is reliable and a good company to work with. Just got a gray pair for each of us & another navy
pair for myself. The Navy is quite dark which I like because often I prefer black slippers. This review should suffice for all 3 three pairs! They are comfortable true to size and well-made.

I've enjoyed wearing this slipper for decades in the original wide toed design made in Germany. The current pair Dodd offers is in the same 100% good quality wool but alas is pointed toed and a third of an inch narrower and made in Bosnia says the tiny barely visible tag in the inside seam. I will be returning them.
