Love the feeling of a house shoe, but wish they could be more outdoor-friendly? That's why the makers of Giesswein created the line of Tyrolean Lodge shoes, including the Giesswein Veitsch. The Veitsch wears like a clog, but feels like a house shoe. The uppers are made of uniquely durable, natural boiled wool, delivering the all-season breathability and moisture wicking qualities of wool. The slip-on style makes on/off a breeze. Inside, you'll find a footbed that is anatomically correct with amazing arch support, a metatarsal arch, and a deep heel cup. The foot-molding contours of the Giesswein footbed is patented, but they are also removable to accommodate custom orthotics. The outsoles of the Veitsch are slip-resistant and waterproof, perfect for a variety of surfaces and temperatures. The pull tab and gusseted instep make pulling on this lodge shoe a breeze. Whether you're at a resort in the Tyrol region of Austria looking out on the Alps, or running out to do a few errands in your own town, the Giesswein Veitsch lodge shoe will make sure you are in total comfort.

  • Accommodates orthotics
  • Boiled wool lining
  • Boiled wool upper
  • Removable, anatomically designed insole

comfy feet
I love the feel of the boiled wool and the support of these slippers. I wear them all day in and out of the house. I have tried many other slippers made from sheepskin but returned them as they didn't fit, had no support and were not as durable as the Giesswein.
Giesswein is not only a global brand renowned for quality - it is also a family name. Three generations of the Giesswein family have guided the company during itís 55-year history. The tyrol region of Austria is considered by many to be the most beautiful corner of the Alps. Our product, quality, and success is very much a reflection of the region in which we live and work. Surrounded by pristine lakes and rivers, sparkling glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and pastoral valleys, nature has been our inspiration since day one. Our tradition of hard work, reliable quality, and respect for nature is the backbone of our success over the years.
