Rugged style and timeless sophistication are perfectly blended in the Frye Jayden Cross Engineer boots. This shortie engineer style boot has a tumbled full grain leather upper for long lasting wear. The decorative buckles at the collar and ankle add rustic style, while the slip-on construction offers quick and easy on/off. The Goodyear Welt construction offers better flexibility, while delivering long-lasting durability. A soft leather lining and lightly cushioned footbed makes an inviting interior, while the durable leather outsole with rubber heel cap offers long lasting wear. All of this in a classic style from a brand known for its craftsmanship, the Frye Jayden Cross Engineer boots will be a favorite for years to come.

Frye Jayden Cross Engineer 10/05/2016
By Susan Blissett
I had such a wonderful experience purchasing these boots through Dodds Shoe Co! They were sold out in my size and the color I wanted on the Frye website, and after scouring the web, I found them here. I called prior to purchasing the boots to confirm the return and exchange policy, and the customer service representative I spoke to was very kind and informative. I was also exceedingly impressed by the fast shipping, I placed my order on a Saturday and the boots arrived two days later on Monday. As for the shoes themselves, I would definitely recommend going up a half size if you are someone who likes to wear thick socks with their boots. Once you are certain you are keeping them, I would also recommend taking them outside and intentionally rubbing the soles on a rough surface such as a driveway, to add some texture, because the smooth soles make slipping a possibility. Overall, I am ecstatic to finally call these boots mine and so very pleased by the way Dodds Shoe Co handled my order!
Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Mr. Frye ran the business for nearly 50 years and after his death in 1911, his family continued to run the business until 1945.

The Frye brand remains true to its heritage and vintage American roots with finely crafted, fashionable boots, shoes and leather goods featuring rich leathers and quality hardware.
