Daughter loves the wool clogs but she wanted the brown not the gray. We appreciate the quick shipping though!
I am very picky about my shoes. I wore out my clogs and replaced my open heel clog with the Haflinger closed heel. Fits perfect and is top shelf in design and functionality. The Dodds Shoe Co. was efficient and professional with the order processing and delivery. I will use them again.
These are the best shoes I have ever had to wear all the time in the house. I have never found a slipper type of shoe that wasn't too slippery or sloppy feeling. The Hafflinger is perfectly contoured on the inside. Not too hot, not too cold. My plantar fascia went away the moment I put on the previous pair I had. Those were worn to tatters, but, I may sew up the holes in the toes and wear them in the summer as garden shoes. I bought a pair for my husband also. He wears them all the time..
This is my husband's 2nd pair of Haflinger's closed heel Grizzlies. He wore a hole in the toe of one of them after 3-4 years. Loved them so much, he had to have another pair. Expect he will love these as well.
I have been buying these slippers for my husband for about 12 years--having trouble finding this style in his size in my town. So last time I discovered Dodds Shoe Co. and was able to get exactly what I wanted. This year's birthday slippers also came from Dodds for the same reason. The shoes arrived in a very short time and were just what I wanted. Will definitely come back to Dodds when the need arises.
Beautiful shoe, wish it was available in a 44. Based upon other reviews, I ordered a size down for my husband and in fact he needs his true size.
Easy exchange for a different shoe since this one wasn't available in 44.
I will be the first to agree these shoes are comfortable and helped with my plantar fasciitis, but be careful wearing them. The soles are a bit "sticky" and especially on carpet can tend to grab if you are not careful. The other issue I have is they leave terrible scuff marks on wood floors that are difficult to remove.
This is my second pair of Halfinger clogs and I like them both. I got these to keep snow out and we did just get some snow last weekend and they are great. Good winter shoe for around town and the house. However, I wouldn't wear them to the ski hill. The traction is a little lacking but I knew that going in. Highly recommend if you want a good quality warm clog.
I moved up the slipper ladder and bought the same brand, but with a heel. As I hoped I can go up and down stairs and jog a little in these slippershoes. You don't step out of them, yet they are not too tight on my tender neuro-pathetic feet. Really like them.
