Haflinger Iceland Slipper Chestnut (Women's)
Based on another review, I ordered one size up from my usual size 38. The slippers would have worked if I wore them barefooted, but I wanted enough room to wear thick socks. So, I sent them back for a size 40. They fit well, and I especially like the arch support. Keep in mind that the fur inside will mash down after several wearings.
Exchanges are easy with Dodd Shoes, but you must order and pay for another pair of shoes before you get a refund. The refund was credited to my account very quickly after they received the returned pair.
I can barely get my foot in the shoe. Not a useful characteristic for a slipper. If I go up a size, it may still be an issue and the shoe would be too large. I have normal feet and arches - this appears to be a design flaw. The shoe itself appears to be just what I wanted, so it's a disappointment. I'm giving 2 stars for the fleece lining.
I love these slippers! Word of warning, they are not true to size. I typically wear a 38, but I ordered a size 41 and they fit fine. I have bought clogs before and found the same issue. You have to try different sizes on to find the right fit, but when she find the right fit, it’s heaven for your feet!
