Design aesthetics and craft: fantastic!
Fit: My typical Sorel size (7) works better than the half-size up I tried first (7.5). Snug but not tight on my medium to wide feet (especially the toes and just below), I expect they will conform with use and that they'll LAST (like my other Sorels). Arch support is not as great as my other, softer and sportier Sorels, but the insoles are removable. The arches feel further back, toward the heel, which may be a function of the downward, not really "platform" slope from heel to toe.
Design: These give me height without pain or wobble or clunkiness. The proportions and details are excellent.
