I have big feet that make buying shoes difficult. I only wear Birks, Chacos, tennies, or or Halflingers. Borns usually fit too. My feet are wide and I have a bunion. That being said, I usually wear a 9.5 so I bought the 40. They were too large so I'm sending back for a 39. I wear clogs barefooted or with thin socks (I live in Florida) so didn't try on with thick socks. Usually shoes I buy online are too small. I'm keeping the 40s till I get the 39s in the mail and deciding which ones to send back.
