This shoe looks great "in person." I got them in black and smog, and the smog is very interesting. It's a warm, bronzy gold but picks up other nearby colors. Very classy. I initially got them in my usual size 8. (I wear 38 in Dansko.) My actual shoe size is probably something between 7.5 and 8 but my feet are wide so 8s generally work. The Fiona's were way too snug in the 8. I would have like to try the 8.5 or an 8W, but they were no longer available. The 9s seemed too roomy at first but after wearing them for a while, my feet swelled a bit and they fit quite nicely. I'm new to high heels and I'm seeing that the shoe really has to fit properly in order to be comfortable for several hours of wear - can't get by with something that's too snug to start with.

This is a really fun shoe! Classic style elements with the elegance of the high heel. The color is as interesting as it looks in the photos - kind of a bronzy gold which will probably not look the same in every type of light. It's almost like a slip-on shoe, as the the strap is attached with elastic. No buckles. The shoe runs small. I have wide-ish feet and generally get by with an 8M but the 8M Fiona was way too small. I would have liked to try to 8.5 but they only had the 9M and that seems to be just about right.
