Your feet will purrrr with joy when you slip into the Haflinger Lizzy slippers. The uppers are made of soft boiled wool with a smiling kitty-cat applique for some mood-lifting cuteness. The inside is also lined in boiled wool to help wick away moisture and keep your feet at a comfortable temperature, whether the outdoors are hot or cold. Haflinger comfort comes standard thanks to the wool covered footbed with latex arch support. The double-felt outsole adds cushioning with each step, and the little rubber traction dots on the outside help keep you sturdy on slick, indoor surfaces. I love the way they look. The sizing was good. They are very comfortable and easy on my feet. They are much prettier in person than the picture gave them credit for. I get a lot of compliments. I do wish, however, that they were a bit thicker with the wool on the sole. But that's just my personal preference. I am very happy with them. Haflinger puts out a quality product and I get years of hard use from their footwear. Dodds was extremely helpful and comfortable to work with. It felt like I was calling someone's home rather than a customer care center. I really liked that. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars was the lack of dense, plush wool in the sole.
These slippers are whimsical in design and high quality in materials, construction, comfort, fit and durability. The material is so warm and soft, while the sole provides support rarely found in slippers. I just bought a second pair, having finally worn out the first pair after wearing them around the house almost daily for three years. They are also washable. Best slippers I have ever had.
This is my third pair of Halfiger slippers. Obviously, I like them! They are warm and comfortable. I wore my last pair out—the bottoms, the sides. It was time to replace, and I went for the dark gray with an artistic light gray cat spread over both slippers. If you like scuffs, you'll like these thick, woolen slippers with slide preventing soles.

These did not have the Haflinger comfort that I had found for so many years. I always forget which model I bought the years before and saw these were on sale( and I love cats!) I found them harder on the bottom and just not right. Since my first pair, many years ago, I have always found Haflinger to be the most comfortable shoes/slippers. I did not get the same happy feeling with these. I sent them back and exchanged for one of the "classic" styles.
